We are creating a series of class agreements to help us be safe and learn throughout our day. As our class creates them, they will be posted in the room and on the blog. Together, we will call these agreements "The JYJ Way".

- Sit in one place
- Sit quietly
- Keep our hands to ourselves
- If I want to say something, I raise my hand and wait to be called on
The JYJ Way for the hall is:
- Make a line
- Stay quiet
- Don't stop (If the line moves, you move.)
- Eyes forward
- Hands by sides
- Stay in place
- WALK everywhere we go
The JYJ for when we eat (snack or lunch) is:
- Eat - Don't play
- Sit down and stay seated
- Keep your knees under the table
- Chew with your mouth closed
- Talk with an indoor voice, but don't talk with your mouth full of food
- Clean up your mess
The JYJ Way for centers is:
- Share
- Be kind
- Be safe
- Take turns
- Work together
- Make a small mess, not a BIG one
- Stay in one place
- Clean up when you are done
- Go when/where a grown up asks you
- Go in a line
- Listen to the teacher
- Follow directions
- Sit down
- Treat others like you want to be treated
- Take care of the things you are given
The JYJ Way for the playground is:
- Play with all of our friends - don't leave people out
- Don't push or hit - Keep our hands to ourselves
- Make safe choices
- Share equipment
- Take care of equipment
- Be kind to nature
